Drape98 Express, LLC is the result of collaboration among three women – its owners - who shared a vision of what a resort-oriented window treatment company should be.

Amy Hunley, an Atlanta resident, first had the idea of starting a drapery company because of personal frustration purchasing quality, custom treatments quickly and at a reasonable price for her Florida gulf coast rental investment properties.  When she found herself ordering her own fabric and rods and contracting her own fabrication in order to get what she wanted, when she wanted it, at a reasonable price, she began to wonder if others weren’t needing a window treatment alternative as well.  Amy approached Shirley Reeves, a seasoned seamstress (and her terrific mother-in law) about possibly making window coverings that would work well with most décor at an affordable price.  Shirley was excited about the opportunity and once the idea began to form, Amy approached Chris Harrelson in Destin, Florida, long time friend, sales person extraordinaire and business associate about joining talents to begin offering a “turn-key” service along the Gulf Coast that not only included fabrication, but also measuring, hardware and installation.  Chris was “in” and as a result a wonderful partnership and valued business quickly took off!

Now Drape98 has a fully equipped workroom in Burnside, Kentucky staffed by skilled seamstresses, along with seasoned area professionals who manage the installation process. We have associated ourselves with reliable suppliers who provide us with fabric, hardware, and other materials that are especially suited to our area at prices that allow us to pass on savings to our customers.  We have been expanding along the Gulf Coast, and after working for over a year to perfect our product and service, found that offering quality window treatments and exceptional customer service was not just popular to coastal 2nd homeowners but something needed in other areas as well.

Drape98 is now working in Atlanta, Mississippi and other southeastern locations helping designers and homeowners achieve the look of custom drapes at an affordable price and without the hassle.  We’ve helped numerous homeowners and designers, and we can help you too!
